Real Talk is a faith-based resource series for teen boys. It's built around the questions most guys are carrying quietly — about who they are, what they feel, and what they actually believe.
If you're not sure where to start, this page will help.
Who are you?
I'm a parent.
You want your son to grow up grounded — in his identity, his faith, and how he handles what life throws at him. The Real Talk series gives him something to work through on his own, and gives you a way to stay connected to what he's learning. Start with the For Parents page.
I'm a teen guy.
This isn't a book that tells you what to do. It's more like a conversation about the stuff that's hard to say out loud. If you're curious, start with the For Teen Guys page.
I'm a youth pastor or small group leader.
Real Talk was built to work in a group setting. There's a Leader Guide designed specifically for you. Start with the For Leaders page.
The Resources
The Real Talk series includes four resources that work together:
Student Book — The core resource. Teen guys read this on their own or alongside a group. Twelve chapters covering identity, confidence, emotions, relationships, and faith.
Workbook — Goes deeper. Reflection questions and journaling prompts that help teens process what they're reading, chapter by chapter.
Parent Guide — Written for parents. Walks alongside the Student Book so you can follow what your son is learning and have better conversations at home.
Leader Guide — For youth pastors and small group leaders. Includes discussion questions, session outlines, and guidance for leading a group through the series.
